Professor Anne E. Trefethen
Biography
Anne has been involved in e-Science research since joining the e-Science Core Programme directorate in 2001. Currently she is Director of the Oxford e-Research Centre. Before that she worked for the Numerical Algorithms Group Ltd leading the development of mathematics library products.
From 1988 to 1998 she lived in the USA, working for 3 years for Thinking Machines Corporation and then for 6 years she was at the Cornell Theory Centre, first as a researcher in parallel algorithms and applications and later as an Associate Director for computational science support.
